Day-Old Doughnuts

Here’s a decent article on how our culture views women. Although I don’t agree with some of the verbiage used, I really appreciate the poignancy. EXCERPT: That our culture worships youth is not all that surprising of an observation. But it is sad to see what this misplaced worship has cost us. Because we have defined ideal womanhood as a giggling twit of a doughnut, women have begun to consider the very thing that Scripture identifies as their glory as a handicap. Rather than honoring their years, we have taught women to be embarrassed by them.
